North Korea has confirmed for the first time the deployment of military equipment and troops to Russia in their war against Ukraine, announcing their participation in the “liberation” Kursk under Article 4 of the North Korean–Russian Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership signed in June of 2024. Article 4 of the treaty states that should either nation be “put in a state of war by an armed invasion”, the other will “provide military and other assistance with all means in its possession without delay” in accordance “with Article 51 of the UN Charter and the laws of the DPRK and the Russian Federation.”

Very interesting catch recently by @KSOSINT
on April 26th, with several F-16ADF airframes spotted being loaded onto a Ukraine-operated Antonov An-124 Strategic Airlifter at Davis–Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona, before flying to Rzeszów, Poland. This may be the beginning of F-16 transfers by the United States to Ukraine, with all previous airframes coming from countries in Europe.

Russian milbloggers report that a Ukrainian unmanned surface vehicle shot down a Russian helicopter over the Black Sea this evening, likely with an R-73 SAM. The Ukrainian SAM USV was escorting a larger USV strike group when it shot down the Russian helicopter.
