Could drone pilots be placed in the western contries, be able ( if drones are launched from ukraine, short or long ranged ) to use starlink or other satelite and stay undetected?
 
Another wild thought, what if you could do it from a container ship in international waters? What rules would then apply?

Do you guys see a international drone ban in the future?

And what if one was enacted, exactly how would it be enforced. We have had such remarkable success against nuclear proliferation

True could be used like a deterrent in future wars, we see those old agreements about like landmines ( and other stuff ) beeing withdrawn. You think it will have restricted sales so no terrorist can use it on mass?

( have to admit when I think about it, it gives me the creeps like nanobots - if you use it to the full potential )

Sadly true. Compare any of that to know dangers of nuclear war. Or the real fears of what gain of function research might unleash.

Consider this and I know it’s not been proven a being done premeditatedly. But it was gain of function research and it did escape from a lab in Wuhan China.

What if anything can practically be done to prevent this from happening again. Or the next time it as absolutely a premeditated release of a viral pathogen with a higher R value and mortality rate than Covid-19.

That to me is exponentially scarier than drones or even tactical nukes being used. Is the possibility of major biological attack with greater lethality

Anyone wonder why it is in the past few years we are seeing tropical systemic fungal pathogens in humans spreading out of the Tropics and into cooler climes.

I don't see why he would be doing that considering im reading reports that the same resource deposits that Ukraine was going to sign a deal over with the US is now in jeopardy of being over run by the russians. Russia may be struggling but I doubt Putins going to stop any time soon if they continue advancing.

If you ask me, it's almost as if Trumps directly working towards enabling Putin to reform the old union piece by piece which might entail giving the whole article 5 the cold shoulder when push comes to shove.

This uproar has never really been about the US leaving nato, it’s about some nato states acting like they are vested partners in the defence treaty they are a part of.

Take the meeting with Mertz. Germany is responding and stepping up, result he and pres Trump had good meeting and troops are staying in Germany.

I get the whole Europe Nato thing, not much of a worry atm but everything regarding Ukraine out of Trump is like one big I owe you. While I'm certainly thrilled that Nato is finally taking Trumps gdp allotment seriously and his purposeful vague responses regarding article 5 are having affect. My point is in regards to Ukraine and the cut off of direct aid and the whole maybe ill get around to sending patriots schtick really disquieting. Whats the strategy of continually permitting Russia to gain land, the new lithium resource deposits and so on when the obvious strategy of continuing to let Ukraine bleed and attrite , slows the advances of the Russians seemed to be functioning albiet with varied results with continued shipments of drones, himar ammo which now seems to be cut off.

Well that we can agree on at least in principle. But I suspect you know that the longer a war is allowed to flounder with back and forth blows and losses. It tends to become exponential harder to turn the momentum of battle and have either side achieve a definitive victory.

I don’t like it. First the war never should have been allowed to start. Second troops should have gone in 11/2 to 2 years ago.
And third there is not the will in the US or Europe to authorize nato troops to go to war in Ukraine.
That’s not a liberal or conservative thing. No nation on either side of the Atlantic had sufficient support to send troops.

Amazing isn’t it, does this indicate the disposition of Putin. And when or if ever might this be used against Putin.
It’s hard to imagine what promises he has had to make to ensure the military hierarchy continues to back him.
