United States Civil War 2 - Possible?

Unfortunately, it’s beyond immigrants that is the issue and that’s why so many people have been at a protest in the past year, extraordinarily high turnout compared to most of American history too. Lots of people believe it will not end at “illegal criminals”, and that some people might not have anyone too feed if this goes much farther. Before I get banned because I want to explain this is truly how at least a third of the country feels, that this is fascism and must be resisted early on at the “minor” transgressions against people we are less sympathetic to. It’s not just about illegal immigrants and that’s what the right willfully refuses to see, and if they do, they don’t mind that dissidents, LGBTQ, and brown people in general legal or otherwise are at risk. That’s why there is a high risk, because a large chunk of the population believes whether a person has the right to exist in this country is not a valid political debate.

I already likely went too far but I’m trying to explain why so many people (as I linked, at least 12% in the past year, 35 million people) are willing to take action, not turn this into a debate. Just because you personally don’t worry about it doesn’t mean a large chunk of the country doesn’t.

I think what you are saying may be summed up eloquently by Martin Niemöller.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
