Largo FL, US: Gas went up from $2.70(ish) to $3.39 today at my gas station in just 5 days. Regular unleaded gas FYI.
You know if America could just get nuclear power plants back online and build them up again electric everything (name it) wouldn't be a bad idea.
Remember the motto electricity too cheap to meter? That's still a very real possibility with just the current NPP technology we have.
It also wouldn't cost as much as you think to build/power entire US grid of NPP's. Shockingly cheap and shockingly not that many needed.

I'm still seeing some stations in Metro Detroit around $2.99 but many of them are moving up to $3.49 or higher. It was around $2.79 last week. Canadian prices are up to around $1.40 CAD per liter in Windsor.
