Why exactly was Saudi Arabia against Project Freedom? I never heard a coherent answer.
Saudi Arabia and Kuwait implemented restrictions on the US military's use of their bases and airspace because US officials "played down Iranian attacks on the Persian Gulf." The Saudis and other Gulf states were also concerned that the U.S. wouldn’t protect them - WSJWhy exactly was Saudi Arabia against Project Freedom? I never heard a coherent answer.
I don't blame them. The Saudis and other Gulf states were also concerned that the U.S. wouldn’t protect them
Their logic makes sense, why would gulf states let US military use their bases if the US isn’t willing to protect them from the consequences of American actions?I don't blame them.
The administration seems to have a unique definition for the term "ceasefire".
I'm not sure the IRGC buys this rhetoric anymore, especially when one factors in this report:The ceasefire doesn't augur well for a truce....

Trump says ceasefire still in effect, but Iran ‘better sign agreement fast’
US President Donald Trump says the ceasefire with Iran is still in effect, despite American and Iranian forces trading fire in the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday. Trump threatened pain for Tehran unless it signs a truce quickly.
A confidential CIA analysis delivered to administration policymakers this week concludes that Iran can survive the U.S. naval blockade for at least three to four months before facing more severe economic hardship, four people familiar with the document said, a finding that appears to raise new questions about President Donald Trump’s optimism on ending the war.
It's difficult to believe any report. The media says Iran can last months, but also says the West will collapse in days.I'm not sure the IRGC buys this rhetoric anymore, especially when one factors in this report:

Looks like I am not the only one who thought this.If I start seeing the US withdraw from the Middle East, leaving the IRGC in power, I would consider THAT a loss I think you are a little premature in your analysis. So far all I see is force buildup, not withdrawal.
Is it possible that the US is mapping every missile, drone and fast boat launch the IRGC is doing and will get hammered when the IRGC shows the world what deceivers they are?
Not quite sure that's a good strategy. Usually, in the history of warfare, the "sit out in the open so the enemy can shoot at me" strategy is generally considered bad.Looks like I am not the only one who thought this.![]()
