The EU strongly condemns the May 29th incident in which a Russian explosive drone, part of an overnight attack against Ukraine, crashed into a residential building in Galați, Romania. The EU says it stands ready to accelerate protection efforts, including through Eastern Flank Watch.
Spain’s Defence Staff says its Expeditionary Combat Group has begun “Despliegue Atlántico 26,” described as Spain’s largest naval deployment of 2026. The deployment includes 5 ships, around 2,500 personnel, 75 vehicles, 10 aircraft, and 12 amphibious craft.
