I'm sure outwardly, China will object and deny. But President Trump's claim may introduce some uncertainty among some voters, potentially decreasing the stability of the American system. This instability might be privately welcomed by Xi and China.Xi is NOT going to be happy about this
Here is an initial analysis from CNN about what the documents do and do not illustrate about US elections.
I do believe the purpose of President Trump's announcement is to possibly induce a groundswell of support from American constituents to pressure the houses of Congress to pass the SAVE act.
US election security and the blame put at China's door step has potential geopolitical consequences and I think discussion is best centered around that. I will reserve further comment at this time to avoid introducing strong partisan arguing in this thread.

Personally, I am very weary of ANYTHING the "clintion news network," CNN puts out. Just look what they are doing on the ground in iran. They are litterly putting out irianian propaganda. I like the American propaganda better. 
I do agree that this speech was an attempt to use the bully pulpit to advance the save act. What's wrong with the save act anyway? Why do states have to have so many mail in ballets now? Covid is over. I can remember a time when you knew the results of an election by midnight when the polls closed at 9. I know, I know the states are responsible for their own elections, but if there is corruption at the state level the fed can step in, can't they? I think that's what President Trump was alluding to. We should get back to election day, not election month or two. IMO
As far as ID goes, I have long been in favor of a national ID card with a chip in it, like passports have now, that shows you are a US citizen. I have to show an ID to buy a can of beer for heavens sake.
The foreign interference and found burn bags statement was interesting. Let's see if any indictments or prosecutions come from it. (I wouldn't hold my breath.)
