Sweden’s Security Service says it disrupted an intelligence and influence operation conducted by three individuals under diplomatic immunity on behalf of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service.

The operation sought information that could support influence activity concerning Sweden’s NATO & EU positions, military capabilities and assistance to Ukraine. All three individuals have left Sweden. Their identities and diplomatic mission were not disclosed.

Ukraine said its forces struck a gas fractionation facility associated with the ZapSibNeftekhim complex in Tobolsk, approximately 2,200 kilometres from Ukraine, and the Orsknefteorgsintez refinery in Russia’s Orenburg region.

Tyumen’s governor confirmed that drones crashed at an industrial facility and caused a fire but did not identify the plant. The extent of damage at Tobolsk remains unclear, while the reported Orsk strike has not been independently or publicly confirmed by Russia.

Austria’s domestic intelligence service says it dismantled a Vienna centered sanctions evasion network that used shell companies and forged end-user documents to supply more than €3.3 million in sanctioned CNC machinery and specialist tools to Rostec linked Russian defense enterprises.

Authorities said the equipment supported production of cruise missile and fighter engine components. The procurement network reportedly involved intermediaries in Turkey, the UAE, Hong Kong, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, South Korea, Poland & Lithuania.

Poland will seek access to EU SAFE defense loan funds left unused by other member states, according to Deputy Defense Minister Paweł Zalewski.

Poland has already secured €43.7 billion through the program and could use additional financing for transport or aerial refueling aircraft. No further allocation, aircraft selection or procurement contract has been announced.

Romanian naval EOD personnel destroyed two drifting Gerbera UAVs in Romania’s Black Sea EEZ, approximately 90 nautical miles off Constanța and near the Neptun Deep gas project.

Both UAVs were assessed as potentially carrying explosive charges. Ukraine said they were not Ukrainian; their origin remains undetermined.

Ukraine reportedly stopped attacks affecting Caspian Pipeline Consortium infrastructure and non-Russian vessels following a July 31st request from U.S. Vice President JD Vance.

The restriction reportedly applies while vessels are neither sanctioned by Ukraine nor carrying Russian oil or cargo. It is not a general Black Sea strike moratorium. U.S. officials have not publicly confirmed the arrangement, and Reuters could not independently verify it.

Russia’s Novorossiysk Grain Terminal and NKHP suspended operations after both facilities sustained damage during an overnight attack.

The terminals have a combined annual export capacity of 15.6 million metric tons. The outage duration, repair requirements and actual export losses remain unknown.

German warship builder TKMS raised its FY2026 sales growth forecast from 2-5% to 10–12% and projected an operating margin of up to 6.5%, citing strengthening European demand for frigates, sensors and mine countermeasure technology.

Nine-month operating profit increased 13% to €110 million, while its order book stood at €20.1 billion at the end of June.
