U.S. Army M142 HIMARS rocket systems launched ATACMS ballistic missiles from Kuwait at targets in the Ahvaz area, southwestern Iran, during the early hours of today.
According to numerous eyewitness reports received between approximately 02:19 and 02:33 local time, residents across different districts of Ahvaz reported repeated explosions, powerful shockwaves, and continuous detonations that shook buildings and rattled windows. Several witnesses described the explosions as occurring in rapid succession, with some reporting more than ten blasts and suggesting that a military ammunition depot may have been struck due to the prolonged secondary explosions.
Khorramabad
Ahvaz
Bandar Abbas
Qeshm Island
All have been reported under attack. Khorramabad is a highly mountainous area, suggesting the target may be some kind of underground missile facility or missile launcher target.
Ahvaz and southern Iran have been heavily pounded overnight.A resident reported hearing at least 20 consecutive explosions near Kianshahr at around 2:20 a.m. The strikes were reportedly still continuing at 3:15 a.m., though with longer intervals between explosions
TAMPA, Fla. — U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces successfully completed the 13th straight night of strikes against Iran, July 23, at 9 p.m. ET.
CENTCOM targeted Iranian military command centers, drone storage facilities, communication networks, coastal surveillance sites, and maritime capabilities to further diminish the threat Iran poses to civilian mariners and commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
Last night’s U.S. strikes on Iran appear to have been the largest of the latest campaign so far. The pattern of damage also suggests strategic bombers may have been used against several deeply buried missile and military facilities.Reported strike locations:
1. Ahvaz, Khuzestan Province
2. Andimeshk, Khuzestan Province
3. Bandar Abbas, Hormozgan Province
4. Jask, Hormozgan Province
5. Khondab (outskirts), Markazi Province6. Khorramabad, Lorestan Province
7. Konarak, Sistan and Baluchestan Province
8. Naeen, Isfahan Province
9. Omidiyeh, Khuzestan Province

The IRGC has issued a public warning to civilians across the Gulf, telling them to physically distance themselves from anywhere U.S. troops might be sleeping.
"Civilians in countries hosting US troops are warned to immediately stay at least 500 meters away from locations where American military personnel are secretly housed, for their own safety."
That word, "secretly," is Iran claiming that American forces have moved off their bases and into civilian areas, which would mean nobody in Kuwait, Bahrain or the UAE knows whether the building next door qualifies
The full statement goes further, asking the public to report the new locations of relocated U.S. forces to an IRGC Telegram channel and website.
That is a safety notice on the surface and a crowdsourced targeting request underneath.
