The U.S. Embassy in Abu Dhabi and U.S. Consulate General in Dubai have canceled consular appointments from July 13 – 15 due to the regional security situation. If you have an appointment on those dates, Americans should not come to the embassy or consulate, we will contact you to reschedule.
The U.S. Embassy and U.S. Consulate General remain on ordered-departure status, meaning that non-emergency U.S. government personnel have been relocated outside the UAE. As a result, only limited consular assistance to Americans is available.
TAMPA, Fla. — U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) completed the latest wave of strikes against Iran at 10:15 p.m. ET on July 13.
During the five-hour mission, U.S. forces successfully struck military targets across Iran including Bushehr, Chah Bahar, Jask, Konarak, Abu Musa, and Bandar Abbas to further degrade Iran's ability to attack commercial shipping. CENTCOM forces employed precision munitions against Iranian coastal defense systems, missile and drone sites, and maritime capabilities.
More than 50,000 U.S. service members are currently deployed across the Middle East. American forces remain vigilant, lethal, and ready.

Intimidation runs!According to several eyewitnesses. Multiple fighter jets conducted flights over Tehran and several other cities in southern and central Iran tonight. In at least two instances, the aircraft most likely broke the sound barrier, producing sonic booms that were heard across large parts of the affected cities. These flights most likely served as a warning by the United States to the Islamic regime of Iran.
