I think this is a pretty simple remedy. If Israel (or any of the gulf countries) want to continue hostilities, let them. However, ALL American support, both militarily and financially, ends today.

Not surprising when both sides don’t even sound like they were on the same page as to what the ceasefire entailed. I do think it shows both sides are looking for some sort of agreement, seeing how both agreed to a spur of the moment deal without working out the details. It’s just going to have to involve neither side losing face.

What you need to understand is that for now, only a cessation of US-Israeli and Iranian attacks in exchange for the opening of the Strait of Hormuz has been agreed upon. The rest will be negotiated starting April 10, 2026, in Islamabad.
This is not a peace treaty; it's a two-week ceasefire.

I personally do not see this ceasefire lasting very long. What we saw yesterday is part of Trump's usual pattern. He makes a maximalist demand, then he goes "TACO" on it, and then something will come up to embarrass him to where he escalates even further. I think that this latest TACO is just a brief pause before he carries out an even worse strike than what he was proposing.
