I’m wondering if Trumps apparent way off the wall rant about ending a civilization was a warning to real or rouge Iranians attempting to use some type of radiological device, ie dirty bomb.

If you listen to his very carefully worded statement that exactly what it would sound like to me.

I have been watching it over and over and thats what I believe. I guess we will find out when this is over.

Might? 😂 I hope Europe has its shit together because I can see it now, literally, Trump may very well call Putin and say "I don't care what you do anymore, where done in Europe, you stay out of South America and we will have no problems." Just saying...

We have already gone through this. Trump doesn't have to vote yes in invoking article 5 and even if he did, he could just send 1 advisor and that would fulfill our technical commitments.

Price controls, unfortunately, don't work.
Capping the price would artificially inflate demand and cause even worse shortages

Also, most Americans do not fully appreciate how low gasoline prices are in the United States compared to most of the world. Gas right now in the US is about $1.10 USD/L. Most other countries are well north of $2.00 USD/L.
 
Of course they are. In the lists I saw floated around, Iran might as well have just asked for unconditional surrender and been allowed to occupy D.C.

There's no way the U.S. could deliver on more than half of the demands, so, the deal was dead on arrival. It was just a call on Trump's bluff in the firs5 place, and the demands were blatantly antagonistic. It had me wondering if I missed some news like a carrier being sunk or something.

Anyway, Trump can't deliver on knocking out the power because if the power fails at the nuclear power plant, it can go into meltdown, and any radiation that leaks will end up harming the regional allies, too. Nor could he unilaterally allow the toll, or accept never attacking any of Iran's allies.

So, I assume the countdown starts again?

Is all of Iran’s entire power grid and many multiple power plants hundreds of miles away are all piped into, and singularly responsible for nuclear power plants?
 
Well. Attacks have yet to resume. Oddly. Even though CF talks done, none planned for future, an both sides issuing dead hand switch threats. 🤔

I wonder if they can leave the situation unstable much like North and South Korea. They're both technically still at war never signed a ceasefire or treaty. Suppose the same could happen here. Doubt it though.

Or is it a weird shift, ie Iran is actually blockading it, but since they're too "weak" to do it Trump wants to make it seem like the US are doing it? But yeah even so what even is the reasoning if it is an actual blockade of the entire strait and not like, Iran's coast.
 
It would make zero sense to also blockade the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman so I’m guessing this is more so about ships destined for Iran but it’s written in typical Trump rambling fashion.
