🗣️US-Israel (&) Iran-Lebanon | Memorandum of Understanding Was Signed | ANALYSIS OF REPORTS

Maybe not listen to sources whose headlines are only from press releases from Iran government sources only.

The memorandum hasn’t been released yet and everyone here is throwing around statements of fact based on rumor and press releases from the IRGC? WTH
This is why I said I am going to wait a while to see how it all plays out. With the US midterms right around the corner there's going to be allot of BS being slung around. One side is going to say it's the greatest thing since sliced bread and the other side is going to say the US threw up the while flag of surrender.

Not attempting to be political. Just analysing the strategic implications.

If the MoU is even close to what has been rumoured, this will significantly weaken the U.S. President's position during the midterms and practically guarantee a fully hostile Congress. This will significantly tie the hands of the United States. Not fully, as the President has quite a lot of latitude for military action. But in the face of a hostile government that has promised to do everything it can to stop the President, this will play into Iran's hand. Which is what they are hoping for.

Once again, the U.S. has snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

Is it possible President Trump wants to bring down the inflation rate and price of gas at the pump before the midterms. Let's see what happens after the midterms because I don't think Iran and its proxies are going to be able to adhere to the terms of any deal and President Trump will have his remaining time in office to deal with them.

If the Democrats gain power in the midterms (which I believe they will) and the US is involved in a hot war in the middle east, again, and the Dems try to cut funding for it, leaving our military swinging in the wind, it's going to look bad for them in 2028. IMO Just something to think about.

Of course they won't. They have no fear of any consequences.
I agree with the first part but the second part, not so much if you're anywhere around one of those B52 or B2 bombing runs or Tomahawk missile strikes. I also think they see a Mossad or Cia agent behind every bush with a laser designator. ;)

That is the issue, though. Iran (the government) was not anywhere near a B52. They were safe in their underground bunker.
