If you have a problem with a post or comment that you think needs addressed, use the "report" feature to bring it to our attention. Contrary to popular myth, mods aren't omniscient and omnipresent.

Snarky comments will not get you anywhere.
 
Okay, having finally caught up on this thread after this annoying thing called "life" distracted me for a few days, let me say this:

"Discussion," as it relates to threads like this, means analysis of posted reports, not social commentary. It also means civil discourse between people who disagree with each other.

Also, please be clear on whether your post is based on verifiable facts or is personal opinion.

Keep it on topic and civilized.

I have a very light hand in policing people I feel should be noted and only pursue clear cut violations.

BEFORE REPORTING a post please look over the board guidelines to see if the post in question has violated any rules:

Mostly addressed the issue. I would only hope that opinions are at least remotely based on reasonably defendable facts or normal logical methodology not just blind assumptions not rooted in any known facts.

Absolutely🥴. Now the problem remains if someone opinions are based on history, different knowledge, etc of said person reading it , etcetc is that person supposed to post acceptable sources of information to back their opinions. Because seriously that is a hell of lot of work just to state a possibility, belief,concern, history etc etc. Unfortunately known facts for one is Absolutely a individual thing. This is why I always say do your own homework and study more what you claim to be interested in . Independent of expected education here as it will eleviate unnecessary pressure, misunderstanding, confusion, tension etc etc. No cheat sheet here. Only extra information. And for the open minded different outlooks,opinions, scenarios to consider evaluate and learn from. Encyclopaedias etcetc 🙄😔🧐🤨🤔🥴😅
Eg. Ukraine-Russia discussion.
Today?confict
100 days ? Conflict
8yrs? Conflict
20yrs? Putin in power
70 + years? Ussr and division-creation. ?
Nato growth.?
Russia?
Ukrainian history ww1 ww2 😯🙄

you do realize that by that definition and criteria you will never move beyond just talking. those that are predisposed to your world view agree.
if your not willing to provide history or data or at least try to defend your reasoning so others might understand your point, there is no profit in that, no communication.

Simple you can't please 100% of the people 100% of the time. Each to their own.
