Crackdown On Secret Illegal Chinese Police Stations Within US

I feel that it will become a global issue, sorry to say. Companies moving business elsewhere might mitigate it somewhat, but it will still be felt everywhere.
The difficulty will be with raw materials and products that China has not yet lost a monopoly on. That will be where the inflationary spiral effects the rest of the world.

There is an intrinsic problem with the modern economic system.
It does not have a means of enduring periods of little to no economic growth. Economic growth and expansion is good don’t get me wrong.

But as with any economic systems cycles are part of it. In modern economies of scale this will always be true.
But as it is now periods of no growth are always perceived and reacted to as a net negative. This isn’t realistic.
Flat stable economies are not intrinsically bad. People have just been acclimated to seeing them as a negative.

New technology is what drives growth.
Will it be safe cost effective batteries, AI and more automation, hydrogen fuel cells?
I don’t think anyone really knows yet.

China has boxed themselves in in a bad way. They have pissed off a lot of nations who are now reconsidering the scope of trading with them. Their Manufacturing engine has probably been set back 15 years because of policies and quality issues.
Their exports won’t dry up but they won’t see the growth.
This is a real problem domestically. They’ve emptied the rural areas for metropolis growth to feed manufacturing. And now their manufacturing has plateaued.

The unemployment rate in China is staggering. Young people are checking out of the system. Xi is facing a quiet revolt from the people. No matter how the CCP conflates the numbers, their economy is in free fall. Exports might not drop significantly, but no growth and companies leaving like crazy are not deniable.
