Statement by the North Atlantic Council on the situation in and around Ukraine​

"We are ready for meaningful dialogue with Russia. We reiterate our long-standing invitation to Russia for a meeting of the NATO-Russia Council in the near future. We are aware of Russia’s recent European security proposals. We are clear that any dialogue with Russia would have to proceed on the basis of reciprocity, address NATO’s concerns about Russia’s actions, be based on the core principles and foundational documents of European security, and take place in consultation with NATO’s European Partners. Should Russia take concrete steps to reduce tensions, we are prepared to work on strengthening confidence-building measures. The OSCE is also a relevant platform.

NATO is a defensive Alliance and will continue to strive for peace, security, and stability in the whole of the Euro-Atlantic area. We stand united to defend and protect all Allies."

Second part of art six, in no part of their territories that can deploy missiles that can reach the national territory of another signatory. Pretty sure the rules out all the other signatories.

And that leads to the third deficiency.
“The Parties”. It only list the United Stated or America and the Russian federation.
No nato.
Does that mean Russia can deploy intermediate range missiles that reach Ukraine. That won’t be acceptable.

Calm down. We are nowhere near a nuclear exchange, which our DEFCON level clearly reflects.
 
More sightings of military transporships from both sides. Have you noticed that they've been stopped for a while and suddenly reappeared after the fact that this round of negotiations has failed? Or simply a coincidence.

Sorry. I didn't mean to panic, I just been going through some things mentally. It just seems like a bunch of mixed signals at this point, I didn't know what to make of it.

Defcon 5-4 isn't anything to worry about.
Defcon 3 you should watch and check regularly. Check preps and plans if any. Full fuel tanks etc.
Defcon 2 = no sleep. And I personally would probably seriously consider getting out of dodge until it drops down.
Now please keep in mind that's my own opinion and doesn't mean I am correct. Everyone is different. But for me 3 is a real concern and 2 is go go go. I'm not waiting for 1 where I live. Once again I stress everyone is different and different circumstances. The main point is, it is to early to worry at Defcon 4 .

Look, both sides(US and Russia) have stated they don’t want war with each other. That’s why the US didn’t put boots on the ground, and Russia hasn’t forcefully made advances towards NATO members. We are still in saber rattling.
