Iranian media claim Tehran is developing a missile capable of reaching North America.
Iran’s parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf saying “all options are on the table,” from diplomacy to “defense,” and warning any US military move “amid negotiations” would face a decisive response. He also said Iran would reciprocate diplomacy that respects mutual interests.
IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi saying he will attend the Feb 26 Geneva round, calling the talks “at their peak” and urging results. The same report quotes him saying Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan suffered severe damage in the June US & Israel strikes, but Iran’s enriched uranium stock “still exists” inside Iran.
Marco Rubio briefed the “Gang of Eight” on Iran ahead of President Trump’s address. The report says Democrats pressed for clear objectives and war powers compliance, and that CIA Director John Ratcliffe also participated.
Turkey’s Presidency Directorate of Communications, via its disinformation center, denied claims that Turkey plans to enter or occupy Iranian territory if the US attacks Iran, calling the reports misleading.
Strong explosion was reported in Bandar Abbas, followed by a wide electricity outage. Initial reporting cited a possible generator related incident, while activists circulated alternative explanations without evidence, and no official cause was confirmed at the time of publication.
Iran’s Deputy FM Majid Takht-Ravanchi saying Tehran is ready to do “whatever necessary” to reach a nuclear agreement with the United States, and will enter the Geneva talks in “good faith,” conditioned on political will.
Walla reports the IDF assesses Washington is nearing a “point of no return” on Iran. Iran’s government spokesperson said the 3rd round of talks will be held Thursday, Feb 26, in Geneva under Omani sponsorship. The report says FM Abbas Araqchi will lead Iran’s political delegation, with technical details to be announced later by the foreign ministry.
Germany advised its citizens in Israel and Lebanon to stock supplies and identify shelters, warning of possible airspace restrictions. The report also notes guidance to install a missile warning app in Israel, and references Germany’s earlier call for citizens to leave Iran.
Srugim reports an INSS poll on Iran related risk perception in Israel. Reported results include: 50% would support an independent Israeli strike if a US & Iran deal prevents US action, 78% say they are worried about the Iran issue, 72% say Israel’s air defenses are sufficient, and 88% say Home Front Command guidance is clear.

This is significant even if it's not true. The use of chemical/biological weapons can warrant a nuclear response according to nuclear doctrine of most nuclear-armed countries. Hence, if this is deliberate disinformation, it could be the precursor to laying the foundation for a "justified" Israeli nuclear strike.ALERT
