Na ain't nothing going to happen.
Agree. ⤵️
Wake me when commercial satellites flag hard indicators like abnormal rail traffic to GUMO-(Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defence) depots, dispersal of nuclear capable TELs, transloading at railheads, perimeter/security surges, or unusual activity at SSBN-(Nuclear Powered Ballistic Missile Submarine) piers and long range bomber bases. That’s the difference between chatter and a crisis and in 2025 it’s visible to anyone with a browser its not a crisis. Not even close yet. Are we moving in that direction? Eh... not really. At least not yet.
So... Call me when commercial sat imagery shows anything real like unusual movement at Russian nuclear storage sites or other strategic footprints that scream pre crisis. You can’t hide that anymore. Not from militaries and not from the public.

And as far as I am concerned or know of... none of the things I listed the other day have or are occuring. So. 🤷‍♂️ Is this the direction in the wrong path? Yes. But not end of the world or a world/nuclear crisis.

I am really not feeling okay with the current environment and where things keep going. If this is the new status quo... I'm a little nervous what the next step is on the escalation ladder.

NOTE: No immediate nuclear threat. But Europe’s war risk is edging up as this “new normal” settles in. 👉Escalation by miscalculation is the main/only concern.

I don’t like the trajectory. If this is the baseline now, the next step on the ladder gets easier to reach, even without intent.

Agree. This is getting silly. But regardless. Not a new status quo I feel comfortable with...
Of course not, but this whole overreacting over things that have been ongoing for years is just ridiculous, and just scares the people instead of providing proper information.

It seems like media and Twitter’s OSINT “specialists” have just discovered that there’s been an hybrid war in Europe going on for years.

This kind of incident happened already countless times. But just didn’t get to the media.

I have been watching at countless of BREAKING NEWS, referring instead to hours days old events…

Not to talk about the partial quotes, wrong translations or the free reinterpretations of public statements made by officials.

And this is precisely where things can get out of hand. War of the Worlds, anyone?

What is Europe/NATO to do? Russia keeps pushing, pushing, and pushing the boundaries, eventually you have to show him you'll hit back so that he respects you.

Agreed. Question is... how far if at all NATO/EU willing to prove their point of mutual defence.
NATO is dead.
If Poland or the baltics or Estonia down a Russian plane, they will be left to their own fate.
The US, Germany, France, Italy, Turkey will never follow them despite the announcements, therefore NATO will break up.
If they don’t down a jet Putin will just keep going with the provocations.

I’m not so sure about that.
I think it will all be incumbent upon the Russian response.

NATO is dead.
I agree. Less than two weeks ago as a matter of fact said same thing:
I have been increasingly convinced NATO is dead. No one wants to admit it.
To much doubt has been put into NATO already. Europe while moving in the right direction is certainly not doing enough in almost all aspects regarding their military infrastructure, capacity, and capabilities.
imo NATO is lucky Russia is weakened at the moment. But they won't stay down forever. Watch out. 🫣
Because when Russia does gather itself again. What is stopping Russia from starting a "small" provocation by taking a small border town in Lithuania or Estonia? Is NATO going to start a war over a small village of a couple hundred people? See where I am going? Yea...

Personal opinion on what you personally want is not same as what could or may happen. Your saying "no" as in "no" I don't want that. Or "no" you don't think it will happen.

Just asking you to elaborate more is all. Don't take it wrong.
Both. The majority of Europe is going to be appeasing whatever happens so they don't get themself attacked till a major power hops in and defends them, or directly attacks them. If we are being honest most Europeans don't really give a fuck. Look at general European sentiment vs general US/CHINA/RUSSIA/UK/(Japan who's starting to become this way) sentiment.

most Europeans just want their healthcare, the freedom to travel, and the opportunity to work, there is no existentialism for a flag. When a big nation starts to impose on the smaller nation directly they get pissed, when they aren't being directly affected they don't care. We see that primarily with Ukraine, we seen that with Hitler, we seen it with chechia, and the soviet red curtain.

Europeans live under a system where you can move to a nation next to you with ease, and you can seek asylum with ease, and have generally the same language and monetary system which is base English and base euro.
