A large formation of USAF aerial refueling tankers are currently crossing the Atlantic toward Europe, this includes additional tankers, which are accompanying the movement, but are not visible on public flight-tracking systems.This activity could represent a scheduled rotation, preparations for a Bomber Task Force (BTF) deployment, or a broader move to bolster NATO’s defensive operations.

Wow. A seemingly rational take from Dima? I’m….appalled. Sounds like to me their fear is unintended escalation, not something planned.

Polish PM Donald Tusk delivers a very blunt speech at the Warsaw Security Forum (excerpts follow; translation mine):

We're at war. Today the most crucial task for all public opinion leaders is to drill this fact into the hearts and minds of the entire translatlantic community - regardless of how much pain that causes. The war is upon us. It's a war we did not want; a strange, new breed of war - but a war nonetheless. (...) If we lose this war, consequences will fall upon future generations not just in Poland, but throughout the world.

He also says the US is right to demand more involvement from Europe - as long as it itself prioritizes transatlantic relations.
