Yes. This is a phenomenon that can actually be tracked by comparing dates of Trump announcements with market activity, especially polymarkets. This is no longer a theory, and is a war crime, in my humble opinion.

If it is someone directly involved in the decision making it would very likely be criminal.
War crime is kinda hyperbolic.
It could also be individuals not directly involved in the decision making process or timing, but have breaking and accurate info on timing.
I’m not saying something criminal is not being perpetrated by individuals directly linked to the administration. I can’t know that. There certainly an indication someone had access information and timing. But who? That also at this time can’t be know.

It would probably be just as bad or much worse depending on who pursues it, but what does a good outcome that is ACTUALLY feasible without any concessions or consequences look like, anyways?

Those are all purchases and sales prior to mid march 26. The back and forth over negotiations began mid April.
So it’s not related to the speculation about stock or market manipulation during the negotiations back and forth.
It’s also on an ethics disclosure form for public review. Fairly certain if some these transactions violate some criminal or ethics they would be picked apart.
My point is yes it’s a lot of trades involving lots of dollars. None of that however points to anything illegal.
I also find it extremely boring to listen to complaints about questionably financial activities of Trump or his corporation.
While the Biden influence pandering went on for eight years and it was ignored or dismissed as fake news.
If criminal stock or commodity trades were made by individuals with the Trump admin then fine. Prove if in court.
Because anything short of that is a double standard and I don’t care.
And if it should be proved beyond reasonable doubt then those involved should be punished

True, I mispoke on the release date for the form, but that does not take away from what is present in it. Or does it take away from the fact that Donald Trump also spent millions buying aerospace, defense, and energy stock in troves, hours after he announced that talks were going great between Iran and US on March 23rd. Oil prices had dropped 11% before his "independent third parties" that manage his investments got their hands full. Is that not Insider trading? I guess the SEC will have to determine that.

Again it’s on a publicly posted ethics report. If something is there that is illegal or violated ethics rules I’m sure it would or will come to light.
Does nothing except feed innuendo.
If we want to keep talking Obama net worth before becoming president was around 3 million. 8 years later 70 million. What’s a president get paid again.
If we want to confront and change the ethics and financial benifits politicians.
Fine let’s just not worry about it when it’s someone you might not like.

Impeach who? I made no references to any specific person or persons. As for how the Democrats handle the Iran War, I have no clue. There may not be a way to fix this.

To be fair there are 8 large transaction made immediately before several major announcements. They seem to be timed to major announcements.
As of now they all appear to be truly anonymous. Who made these transactions should be of interest but can they eventually be identified so far is an unknown.
If the Trump family is making investment based on insider knowledge, I will be disappointed. However, given that this seems to be business as usual in Washington with virtually all politicians.
It’s not even illegal for Congress persons to do it.

There is a huge difference between "business as usual in Washington" where politicians make a profit on the stock market based on prior knowledge of events and politicians making a profit on the stock market based on prior knowledge of military action resulting in death and destruction, especially when those actions appear to be deliberately calculated to artificially manipulate the market.
The former might be legal, but also unethical. The latter is most certainly illegal and is morally repugnant.
@NuclearID - Feel free to move the discussion on market manipulation to a different thread. It's not really analysis of reports per se, but it is directly related to the Iran war and how it's being prosecuted.

And when something beyond political innuendo attaches that to someone in the admin then something needs to be done.
Until then it is nothing but wishing and hoping for a legal misstep by the administration so one might be proven correct.
And yes I know about the 8 polymarket accounts that are anonymous and obviously it would appear made trades with insider knowledge.
Key word anonymous.
And it is not different than family members (son and Brother) making deals with foreign companies because of the influence a family member has in impacting US foreign policy or aid.

I would be perfectly fine if every single politician who has violated the law while in office was hung in the public square. With apple pie and fireworks afterword. I am so fucking sick and tired of liberals making excuses for Democrats and conservatives making excuses for Republicans. The level of hypocrisy in this country - and on this board - is disgusting.
