You mean because the DNC is busy spending money we don't have?Only way I see US not bailing out the bank is if GOP or Conservatives go out of their way like they always do to hurt Americans like refusing to pay debt we already owe with the debt ceiling and in a similar way they will shootdown any proposals for a bail out or make it impossible to bail out the bank.
Really? Debt ceiling is about money we already own, not in anyway about future spending. You mean because the DNC is busy spending money we don't have?
I was, of course, referring to spending money, borrowed money, to assume the Banks liabilities.Really? Debt ceiling is about money we already own, not in anyway about future spending.
Ah thought you where inferring somthing else.I was, of course, referring to spending money, borrowed money, to assume the Banks liabilities.
Now in my opinion, it’s not so much about the size or makeup up of the bank, “Tech based bank vs. Ma & Pa bank. It’s more dependent upon what happens when Ma & Pa run to the local bank to with draw all their monies. Then we have a cascading problemImo this is being blown out of proportion. US gov won't let the bank fail. Not a bank such as this.
If we were talking about a Ma & Pa local bank sure those go belly up all the time. But not a bank such as this. No way US gov let's it sink.
Im not smart enough to get into Keynesian economics, or any other type.Ah thought you where inferring somthing else.
Which is why US will not let the bank go belly up. Poses to many risks. Now in my opinion, it’s not so much about the size or makeup up of the bank, “Tech based bank vs. Ma & Pa bank. Surely a zero or low interest loan would be better than just making it rain.Give them the money to bailout.
If we do it the way I am suggesting the US gov then can gain some say or control over the bank, particularly a say in those who run it. This would be the best option. Cut out the disease and fill the hole with competent bankers. Prevent it from ever happen again. Also prevent this from happening to other bank by shunning those who caused it from the banking industrySurely a zero or low interest loan would be better than just making it rain.
