The chairman of the German CDU party, Friedrich Mertz, currently the leading candidate for victory in the country's general elections, expressed support for denying German citizenship to people who participate in terrorist activities.

In an interview with the "Bild am Sonntag" newspaper, he stated that German citizenship should be revoked from those who hold dual citizenship and join terrorist organizations such as Hamas.

3 killed, 7 wounded in shooting attack near Kedumim in Samaria​

Three people were killed in a shooting attack early on Monday morning in Funduk, near the Israeli settlement of Kedumim, located in Samaria.
Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency services personnel arrived on the scene shortly after the attack to treat the wounded and were compelled to declare the deaths of two women in their 60s and a man in his 40s.
At least seven other people were injured in the shooting attack, including a 63-year-old bus driver, who was listed in serious condition; a woman in her 60s, in moderate condition; and five others listed in light condition. According to MDA, all the injured were evacuated to hospitals for further treatment.

US envoy says Israeli army will withdraw completely from south Lebanon​

The Israeli military will withdraw completely from south Lebanon, United States envoy Amos Hochstein has said, despite recent reports that Israel is planning to maintain a permanent presence in the country.

Hochstein’s statement on Monday came as Israel was withdrawing its forces from Naqoura in the western sector of the border, with the Lebanese army deploying in the area. “These withdrawals will continue until all Israeli forces are out of Lebanon completely.”

However, the US official did not specify a timetable for the Israeli withdrawal.

A ceasefire agreement reached in November between Israel and Hezbollah stipulates that Israeli forces must leave Lebanon within 60 days, by January 26.

Two IDF soldiers killed, four seriously injured in northern Gaza combat​

Two Israeli soldiers were killed and four others were seriously wounded in fighting in the northern Gaza Strip on Monday, the Israel Defense Forces announced.
The two officers were killed and two other soldiers of the 932nd Battalion were seriously wounded in the same incident in northern Gaza’s Beit Hanoun.
In a separate incident on Monday, two other soldiers with the Nahal Brigade’s reconnaissance unit were seriously wounded in fighting in northern Gaza. They were evacuated to Israel for treatment.

👍 Most articles do. It’s a bit interesting and generally a slow news day.

I think there is no way its could happen like that, but opinions vary and Israel’s 10th man rule "Ifcha Mistabra" seems to be unique amongst military’s in the world.

Generally, I think it is a good idea to prepare for war against anyone. IMO
