According to the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, after an Iranian ballistic missile heading towards Turkey entered Turkish airspace, NATO air and missile defense systems in the Mediterranean Sea, possibly a U.S. Navy Arleigh Burke-class destroyer, intercepted the missile.
