While many apps collect vast troves of user data, sometimes without explicit consent, experts say Chinese e-commerce giant Pinduoduo has taken violations of privacy and data security to the next level.

All of this is bad and I don’t like it. That being said we have seen the same behavior by US companies and in some cases corporate government exchange of information.

So while I want chines espionage fought aggressively. The same standard of privacy and data collection applied to Chinese web services sharing with their gov ALSO applied to MY government.
This is not a one way street

Probably everything from China has the ability to spy on you. Heck, if your trash bags are made in China, they are probably recording what you throw away!
