All the sources I've talked to at Twitter are in the dark as to why these suspensions (Mastodon + journalists) have happened, and there has not been a peep on Slack. "All these decisions are hidden now. Elon is paranoid. So much for full transparency," an employee told me.

Every negative spin is one step closer to failure. Twitter will unlikely collapse BUT Elon will sell/pawn it off to someone else cut his losses, this is the goal.

But could be inaccurate. If he linked to the doxx'ing link, it was a a bot that suspended the account.
Damage will already be done once everyone reads the news or just the title even. What really happen won't really matter to most.

Another example of bad journalism coupled with stupid readers.
A recent Musk comment seems to indicate these suspensions were no error, but were caused by the account linking to doxx'ing. "Seven day suspension" Musk said.

Probably seen by like 100 people. After all, this was put out out by Newsnation, the same network hired Cuomo as an anchor, so.........
That's why I said nice title. All the other media companies will soon pick it up and play it on repeat.
In fact by tomorrow I'm sure there will be over a million clips/video on social media from news networks talking about it. Just seems to easy for them pass up.

Before the political partisan wars over the POTUS Trump years, there was bipartisan support for USA - Anti-Doxxing Legislation. U.S. Congress - This last included H.R.3067 - Online Safety Modernization Act of 2017
Now that doxxing is a popular sport among political partisans and malicious abuse of the Internet, such history is forgotten.
As described in Congress by this Democrat-sponsored bill:
"This bill amends the federal criminal code to establish new crimes for using the mail or another facility of interstate or foreign commerce to knowingly engage in the following conduct:
"Additionally, the bill directs the Department of Justice (DOJ) to:"
