Recent Chinese Protests

Also I get the feeling that anti-CCP sentiments are being played up in the Western media, I think the people in China who want to see an end to communist rule are in the minority.
These protesters aren't receiving foreign backing
They don't have the backing of the intelligence bureau
They don't have the backing of the military

I don't think this is going anywhere in terms of toppling the CCP.

Well all we should do is hope it snowballs for CCP and they find themselves losing their heads!

Although when that happens it usually ends with tanks and piles of dead protesters unfortunately...

But yes, I do hope this leads to the downfall of the CCP even though the chance is slim.

Not so much looking for the collapse of the CCP, but more the effects this will potentially have on western economies. How long they let this go, whether the protest are allowed to morph into strikes, could have a major impact on manufactured goods, and supply chain issues, again.
 
NEW Multiple DOZENS of cities in protest in China numbers likly in the hundreds of thousands across the nation.

🔴 Scuffles breaking out between civilians and police. Protesters breaking through barriers and targeting police. Chaos is consuming some cities.

 
China has no problem shooting their own people, they have near-complete control of the internet there, and they have complete control of the media.

These protests are not going to lead to the topple of the government. That is deluded wishful thinking.

It would finaly be a step forward for the Chinese peoples basic human rights & global society progress for a better future.

There will be growing pains. But a world without CCP is a world much brighter for everyone on earth. But the people who will benefit the most will be the Chinese people themselves who would finaly have say in their own self governance & determination.

You are being ethnocentrist right now. You cannot apply western ideals to Asia. Nor can they do it here.

I believe that once again the fact of tpppling governments is bad. You can't topple it because YOU don't like it. The people should simply be given the right to leave s country. It's not a dictatorship unless you remove the ability for your people to leave the country.

China is good, Iran is good, US is good, France is good, UK is good and every other country besides NK due to lockdown restrictions on leaving. The only evil country on our hands is NK and a slight bit on Russia due to limits on the restrictions of travel

Could be great, or we could end up with a military junta that has an economy built on communist standards. It’s like russian roulette😂
 
They only need to dislodge the Xi government and hope a more liberal gov is established in China. It’s small steps or bloody coups. Take the small steps
