This I cannot say and only hope that the majority of Americans and westerners in Europe see the big picture. It's not about Pelosi anymore. It's about principles, morals, and what you stand for foreign policy wise.
I just hope that most westerners and Americans don't get fooled or tricked by propaganda over Pelosi. F*** pelosi, this is not about Pelosi anymore, this is about American principles & morals. We cannot let China dictate what we do.

Please move any freedom of speech legal talk here:

I just ordered a Pelosi doll from Wish.com

You've got to hand it to Mrs. Pelosi, no matter what you think of her, she has tons of intestinal fortitude to do something like this. My guess is that she will land, and Red China will back down. She will be a national hero in the United States.

Well, if that comes true, after the hype of Tiawan, China wins the mind game. Granted, it's "safer" in that immediate respect, but it's only going to embolden China to go ahead and invade. If true, that's the next step for China. It's a sad day for America.

My thoughts exact. She arrives in Japan and visits Korea then swoops in to Taiwan unannounced. Just to throw CCP off.
Not really what I meant. Unofficial means she goes in as Mrs. Nancy Pelosi and not as a US gov't official. Meaning no fighter escort and likely on a civ a/c. The same way they go on vacation, or to visit family. It might actually work, or at least the first part of that plan might, but she'd have to hightail it out of there pretty quickly, as exfil could become a problem.

And of course the Chinese might not care about the difference.

So this is a tempest in a teapot. It shows how our political leaders are all cowards. She's not going. It could have been her finest hour. The old crow is afraid to die. She's 82 years old for Pete's sake!

I find very unlikely that any kind of way for Pelosi to go in Taiwan, could be "unofficial". I doubt that she goes there without be received by journalists and ufficials. It is rather a possibility that the "unofficial" visit is an excuse to could take a civil flight and not use a fighter-jet escort: for China it will be very difficult to react military.

Welcome to the brave and often hilariously wacky world of the Diplomatic Fudge.

With tensions as high as they are surrounding this potential visit, do you think she’d really announce a stop in Taiwan before hand? That would compromise the security around the situation. If she does go to Taiwan, and somehow slip past the PLA, I don’t think it would be announced until after she’s gone.

Its Army day in China in a few hours. Monday is the 95th anniversary of the founding of the PLA, only five years away from the PLA's centenary.. It is a real bad idea but the bluster has kind of cornered her into going or we look weak.
