The UN isn't a governing body, it's more of a club of nations who agree on things (rarely) and they administer some important international bodies.

I mean it just isn't possible for a nation like the DPRK and the USA to be governed by a single body. It's unfathomable.

I agree with this. BUT I know you're not religious but the bible says that the world will be unified under one world government led by the anti christ in the end times. I'm not saying this is happening now.

Really? I didn't know that.

To be honest I never sat down and read it front to cover. I should at some point, I've only read bits.

The Beast​

In Revelation 13:5-8, the Antichrist is referred to as "the beast:"


"Then the beast was allowed to speak great blasphemies against God. And he was given authority to do whatever he wanted for forty-two months. And he spoke terrible words of blasphemy against God, slandering his name and his dwelling—that is, those who dwell in heaven. And the beast was allowed to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And he was given authority to rule over every tribe and people and language and nation. And all the people who belong to this world worshiped the beast. They are the ones whose names were not written in the Book of Life before the world was made—the Book that belongs to the Lamb who was slaughtered." (NLT)

He will most likely begin his rise to power as a very influential, charismatic, political or religious diplomat. He will rule the world government for 42 months. Looking at the 'traits of the antichrist' on your link above I thought that they desccribed Trump almost perectly - until I realied that the very first trait is 'intelligent'. So not him then.

I have read both the bible and the koran. You can't make an informed decision about your belief structure without knowing the material first.

Actually, the antichrist only needs the *appearance* of intelligence. He is, by every description, a deceiver. The antichrist doesn't need to actually be intelligent; he just needs to be able to fool people into thinking that he is.

Off topic, but I believe a major portion of antichrist will heavily contain ai generated activities.

I don't understand why Islam is so against Christianity when they both believe in the same God. Maybe that's just the radical side of it.

Dude, when you realize we had Christians killing other Christians in the 20th century, Islam shouldn't really surprise you.

And technically, only half of Islam doesn't like Christianity. The more liberal half is more open to peacfeul coexistence.

"Had"? And Russians killing Ukrainians is what...?

People kill other people because they desire their land, cows or women; usually all three. God is what they invented so they could feel good about it. In this respect Christianity is no different from any other faith. 🤷‍♂️ As a certain philosopher says - "The more I study religion, the more I feel convinced that since the dawn of time Man has only ever worshipped himself."

If there were such an entity. Religion is the construct of man. You can act like a turd burglar all your life but repent and accept "Jesus" and all is forgiven. Such a very human thing to do, dont accept but deflect to something that is not tangible or proven.

Good thing I follow the Flying Spaghetti Monster, I can make spaghetti, touch spaghetti and look at spaghetti....more real that some douch in a robe.
