Attempting to disrupt Russia's alliance with both Belarus and Iran. I don't imagine Russia will respond well.

Trump really wants a lowkey millitary intervention in Iran. Russia will not allow ties to be broken so easily.

Where did you see America is attempting to disrupt Russia's alliance? I was under the impression that Belarus was neutral, and that Russia was going to continue trade with Belarus no matter what?

Belarus (White Russia) and Russia are close, formal allies; militarily, diplomatically and economically. See CIS, CSTO. Belarus is in fact an origin of modern Russia, through the Kievan Rus empire. Belarus and Ukraine are to Russia as England and France are to America.
