Ukraine would like to say something about that. How often does Trump go back on his word when it comes to use of force? Not very often.

There is reason for the different situation. America has no issue using force on countries with limited defence capabilities. Since dropping 2 atomic bombs on Japan ,America hasn't directly gone to war with anyone , unless it was a overwhelming difference in military power belief that should have been an American win with minimum consequence/danger/ risk to homeland. You know the old saying (looks good on paper) but in majority of conflicts since ww2 ended in another fact ( theory and practical don't always match) resulting in regime change and conflict together or seperate cases of which there are a majority that just didn't really work out as desired. Hence Ukraine hesitance. Lets be honest here with ourselves. And be grateful those with nukes know their boundaries.Ukraine would like to say something about that.
The only actual use of force I’ve seen him go back on was Tomahawks with regards to Ukraine and even then, that’s a stretch.Ukraine would like to say something about that.
