When both sides have a similar perspective wrt war, and both have nuclear weapons in their arsenal, what are the chances they won't be used?
I honestly believe just as good as they would be.
This is obviously dependent on staying out of Russia. Of NATO maintaining a defensive posture. Air cap, air defense, and small specialized nato units to achieve specific goals to defend and or liberate Ukraine.
But this is from if the perspective nato putting boots inside Ukraine. I don’t see this as a given.
Imagine this we are worried about nuclear war because Russia has launched an offensive war. And then when things go against them other neighboring nations decide yeah we’ve been neutral for decades but we don’t like or trust how Russia is behaving.
We changed our mind we want in the alliance.
And somehow we’re debating if this is the correct thing g to do because it might piss Russia off.
Tough shit clad your screwed up.
We’re here now with Ukraine because nato has been weak and indecisive.
And now the debate is should nato return to being indecisive in order to mollify Putin? Or continue to be clear and decisive.
Yes there is unknowns, but their are no unknowns what being indecisive will bring.
