Sanctions typically don't hurt the average person (and shouldn't). Instead it's aimed at the elite and specifically the oligarchs of Russia. The problem with that is the oligarchs park most of their money offshore (particularly the UK). So they never really feel the full affects. However, Putin still blames the US for his poor economy, and I'm sure some of the Russians believe it. When in reality, the regime is just so corrupt that it's nearly impossible for a family in Russia to be "middle class".

Biden said that he will send more troops to NATO borders. I hate the feeling that there are NATO troops moving because of this. When NATO troops move in an unusual way it means that we are in a really nasty situation. Plus: it's actually useless, the only thing it does is increase tensions, because Putin will never attack NATO troops/soil.
