Have you guys been seeing the attitude some Americans have been having towards the war on social media platforms? Russian propaganda is doing a number on the small brain population. Unless it’s all anti Ukraine bots.
Some are sick of war, some can’t see past the corruption in Ukraine, and some it’s simply a opposition reaction to dem support.
There is also a lot of disinformation

But why stop there. There are ethnic groups in Russia wishing to break the shackles of their overlords for independence. They also need support.
Not our problem. They need to be sovereign and recognized by the UN first before we need/should get involved with a Nuclear powers internal affairs.

Try to hold your tears Russians😉, your land grab days are numbered...
While I agree this is satisfying to watch, with each Ukrainian success we inch a little closer to the possibility of combat use of nuclear weapons.

Let's not get too cocky about this.

Are starting to sound as desperate as the west and Zelinski. So I guess the easiest way to define winning would be who has lost the most territory or holds it currently. 🤔🤦‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
How about the ones who have lost the most manpower and equipment. Or we could factor in the fact that Russian gains have stagnated over the last year. Next to no significant gains, while sustaining a steadily growing number of casualities. Not to mention, the rebels and domestic partisans working on Russian soil. Don't even get me started on the shrinking economy or lackluster ability to produce equipment. Or maybe you know, the fact that they have mobilized numerous times and still can't succeed against Ukraine's army even with a 3-1 numerical advantage. Of course the Russians will cry out that they are winning, until the day they have lost everything, just like the Nazis.

Satisfaction is understatement. More like glorious to watch.

We can't let another nation dictate what we can and cannot do. We cannot let another nation be able to commit genocidal warcrimes against its neighbors, in Europe, or around the world.

We have to stop it here and now. Or face greater problems in the future not just with russia but other tyrants seeking to spread their perverted, twisted, and rotten to the core systems.

Well hopefully the Russian MOD doesn't get too upset by my comment. Just happy to see progress.

Also @Yingyang sorry for responding to an old post, keep forgetting to skip to the latest page😅

I agree to a certain extent, but that's where the double-edge sword of nuclear weapons rears its ugly head. When the nation committing genocidal war crimes against its neighbors possesses almost 50% of the operational nuclear weapons on the planet and has repeatedly indicated they are willing to use them, attempting to stop that country risks a man-made disaster with unprecedented destruction on a global scale. If that happens, our descendants will be the ones judging whether or not we should have faced greater problems with tyrants.

whether or not we should have faced greater problems with tyrants.
When I say that. I mean down the line we will have a greater threat of a nuclear war if it is not stopped now. It will only encourage greater nuclear blackmail and rattling. Which we should know where that will lead.

If Russia is aloud to do this will only guarantee nuclear war down the line not just with russia but other nuclear capable tyrants. That's what I mean. It will only guarantee a nuclear conflict down the road if not handled or stopped now.

(PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT)

I want to again ask everyone (not telling) to not share photo or video graphics of Ukrainian Counteroffensive locations. I cannot enforce this. Asking personally.

First it risks the life of the person who took the photo or video.

Second it's to discourage such information being shared. Not that I think the Russians are watching this place. Just generally trying not to encourage or promote it.

Officially, though, the DWS staff won't stop you from posting publicly-available information about military movements.
If any of you have classified or private information on troop movements don't post it, but please do feel free to message it to the staff.

The first week of counterattacks in the Velyka Novosilka area is over. Ukraine has made some local gains, but the success is not yet very significant in the big picture. AFU is still 16-20 km away from the Russian main defence line. 1/3
Attack rarely “punch” threw and get km’s and Km’s in like the surprise spring attacks.

Fighting any peer enemy is going to encounter a defense in depth. These multiple attacks (and small advances) will continue to increase the pressure on Russia until they start forming salients. At that point the UA can either attempt destruction in detail or simply bypass allowing follow on forces (Infantry and Mech Infantry) along with Artillery and what Air power the can spare to reduce them.

I think we will continue to see a slow grind until some areas defense collapses and we get to see an deep drive to the Sea of Azov. Anywhere, it doesn’t really matter. Just cut the Russian lines of communication/“Land Bridge”.

This has to be the goal and both sides know it. The UA however doesn’t need to take a single city like Melitopol. They just need to cut the highways, anywhere.
It won’t be easy. I would expect brutal resistance and constant airstrikes on the UA getting worse the closer they get to the Russian border and Crimea.
