It has been proven that it causes no Environmental effects. The processing or manufacturing process of uranium ammunition causes no radiological threat. When it is processed the danger becomes null and void.
I can only hope your correct as I have come across such claims of my concern from previous conflict zones where such was used. Even though such claims maybe false and I lack the ability to supply resources of such claims i just thought it might be an interesting mention. As I understand it this has been used not only by American forces in other conflicts but also by Russian forces in other conflicts. If Russia shows concerns it may be not only for said weapons abilities against Russian armaments but possibly admitting the results of such and affects left behind. I could be wrong.

Not too long ago Russia blew up an ammunitions Depot of Ukraine that was housing UK depleted uranium ammunition. Even in that giant explosion the area around it didn't see any credible increase of radiation. That is with hundreds if not thousands of depleted uranium rounds in that depot that exploded. Again no significant increase in radiation in the area was recorded.

Eg. HIR Harvard university did a review on the subject i believe. This was just one of sources i have come across referring to my concerns. Google may give a few sources and opinions aswell. Reputable sources i hope. I'm not denying radiation levels recorded are not dangerous from the destruction of depots but it goes into more detail on how it is a risk through dust contamination in soil and water inhalation etc etc.

Well of course. I wouldn't want to grow food from the soil around that depot in Ukraine that blew up with depleted uranium animation.

BUT what I am inferring to is that there is no immediate danger to life from these weapons. It does not spread or cause any significant radiation exposure to humans that one would suffer less from an 11-hour flight from Los Angeles to Tokyo.

Has anyone considered the outcomes of the west supplies of depleted uranium amunition for Ukraine use in Ukraine? The outcomes of such effects of use have been documented from other countries where this has happened previously. Surely it isn't in Ukraines best interests? Or such weapons being used on own land due to effects?
After processing it is simply a dense metal. However It is toxic to the end user.

Oh. Okay sure that too.
I was thinking more of the targets being serviced by the “Silver Bullets” experiencing massive blunt trauma, followed by immediate dismemberment and incineration.
Are yes the lucky ones.
I was thinking civilian population in Ukraine and globally should farming and crops continue .

Not sure where to post this, but here is an interesting article on the surrender of an RU soldier to a UA drone. The article provides footage of the surrender and describes the soldier's ordeal. It also brings a human element to the conflict that we don't often get to experience. It was refreshing to see a degree of compassion in an otherwise bleak situation.

I copied your post and added it to the reports section. It definitely qualifies as a report,
but I believe it is also an excellent topic of discussion so I'm also leaving it here.

I just think of the red forest in the north of UA is more of a danger then depleted shells (anti- armor ) ......... how many Russians got radiation sickness and if they survive the war will have cancer.

I'm not quite sure of the source
Report - At least 300.000 trained Polish warriors are ready to join Ukrainian forces as volunteers if NATO delays opening a new front.
I'm considering this fake news unless I see a reputable source.

That would be a good chunk of their active and reserve forces. I doubt it. Highly doubt it.

Even if the report was true, I think because the figure is shown as “300.000“ and not “300, 000” they are probably talking about 300 personal. Period/comma differential is very important in this case.

In Europe 300.000 means three hundred thousand. 300,000 means three hundred point zero zero zero.

I don't think that at the moment there is a real risk of a nuclear escalation. Russian read lines are very "elastic" and it is quite obvious that it has a very defensive posture, and to say "defensive" is quite euphemistic. It is seems the first time ever that a Country started an invasion just to have a defensive posture, with the invaded one that is the only one that makes offensive operations. The opinion I have formed is that Russia actually doesn't know at all about what to do. It acts like a person who doen't know what to do about his life and hence he limits his action only on what it is surely not-wrong, like eating, doing some sport, without any kind of planning toward an objective. Russia knows that there is a weapon storage? Then it hits it, but then? A missile strikes Belgorod? Then it stikes back a missile on Kiev, but then? It makes only reactions against actions, like an automatic reflex.
So, like any person who fails to undestand what to do about his like, Russian hope is likely to be that the time will "give the answer". Ukraine, as to say NATO, has took advantage from this inconclusiveness, by now absolutely undeniable: any kind of threats of retaliation has been proved to be complete blufs. Prigozin has said nothing but the true. So, I think that any kind of weapon will be finally given to Ukraine, even nukes. Ukraine is already practically a NATO member and if this war will arrive to a kind of long cease-fire, Russia will have not other choices except to accept the fact. If it has not took the initiative until now, it will no take the initiave now, when it is much more difficult then before. So, if Ukraine doesn't make something very very crazy in order to legitimate a nuclear responce (and I find difficult to make an example), I don't think that Russia could on the blue go nuclear. I think that there is no risk even for Crimea. For example: if Ukraine destroys the Kerch bridge, could Russia go nuclear for that? I doubt. In order to go nculear, Ukraine should make a massive strategic offensive toward Crimea, beating off any kind of defence. I don't think it is able to do that, but it is not necessary: it is enough to destroy the bridge and make pressure on the borders or a little beyond the borders.
Finally, at the moment I don't see in Russia any sign to change its posture.
I am actually on the opposite side of the fence here. In regards to Russia, things are beginning to take a pretty good toll on the leadership of Putin. Generals inside of Russia are reportedly taking matters into their own hands and -at times- reportedly denying orders. While none of this has been confirmed, the fact there is a resistance burning busses inside of Moscow lends credence to the fact that there is a growing faction against Putin. Much like the USSR was a loose knit conglomerate of states that the Soviet Premier needed to keep somewhat happy, so too is the power structure inside of Russia. While Putin has been the strongman for some time, it appears that others are beginning to sense weakness. Combine this with the fact that it appears the Ukranian Counter Offensive may be showing some signs of success and the fact that the West continues to supply Ukraine with increasingly advanced weaponry; Putin is being backed into a proverbial corner.

While I do not believe that he will attack the West, I am not positive that this line holds for Ukraine. In fact, I would believe it does not. As such, I would be rather concerned about a WMD being utilized somewhere within Ukraine to end this war. Now, Putin says he cares about Eastern Ukraine and that he wants to reunite them with Russia. As such, he may not want to travel this route due to this notion. However, he is not willing to cede Crimea or have a hostile & Western connected nation directly on his doorstep. He is losing a plethora of men, machines and credibility. At some point he needs to stop the bleeding. The more the Ukraine advances, the higher the possibility of a WMD in my opinion.

Strange how those two timelines are very close to each other.

Sergey Karaganov:
By using its nuclear weapons, Russia could save humanity from global catastrophe

A tough decision would likely force the West to back off, enabling an earlier end to the Ukraine crisis, preventing it from expanding to other states

Yes Russia using nuclear weapons will end the war quickly as they will be slapped out of Ukraine in a few weeks two months max.
