Can we get a follow-up on this? Confirmation that Russian drones (plural) violated Polish air space and confirmation that they were shot down.

I have yet to see a single tweet with evidence of jets engaging targets, or of burning wreckage anywhere. In the 2.5 hours since I saw the first reports.

This makes no sense, that airport is closer to the border than Rzeszów. Saw the tweet earlier would like verification that this isn’t from earlier in the night.

Several Tu-95MS “Bear” and other long-range strategic bombers with the Russian Air Force that were noted airborne earlier tonight, appear to have strangely returned to their bases without launching their usual barrage of air-launched cruise missiles against Ukraine. I wonder if this is related to concerns about what happened tonight in Poland?
