Polish AWACS aircraft THUNER1 is turning away from Deblin Airport, its home base. It was descending back after an apparent end to the situation but is possibly going back up now. Most likely due to bad weather.

This is pure speculation, but it looks like based on their flight paths Russia’s plan was to fly these things into Poland turn them around and hit Ukraine with them. I say that as a couple of them managed to almost achieve that. I think Russia honestly believed they were going to make NATO look likes fools and NATO wouldn’t shoot them down, good on Poland for finally having a pair of balls.
