Russia is a big country and in this hypothetical scenario it also controls even more territory. Even if all the slbms got off and hit targets it would be vastly less than what would be required for total destruction. It would be a win scenario for Russia. Not only that but in this scenario the USA is economically weaker due to losing its largest trade partners.

This is why I've said so many times that personally, I'm concerned that someone somewhere is going to make a mistake and do something stupid. It can only take one miscalculation.

Do not forget that in Nato, not only USA has nuclear weapons.

France has the 3rd ot 4rd more powerful nuclear arsenal, with nuclear submarine lurking around the world, armed with Nuclear missile,

Uk has nuclear weapon too.

So, Russia would not win a nuclear war, nobody would win it...

And as train said, let's focus on Ukraine^^
 
As incompetent as leaders can seem on times nuclear war isn’t something we will ever see, the nukes are just there as a deterrent and no one would dare use it, they just threaten them , for example now Russia doing there drills with nukes is just a way of saying if you don’t want this to go nuclear back off
 
If Putin is stupid enough to use chemical weapons to instigate an excuse to invade, this will give NATO the excuse to intervene demanding an international investigation. It will be Syria 2.0. It’s almost like Putin sees his walls closing in and is desperately trying to stoke WW3.
 
It’s interesting to me that out of nowhere there all these videos of sirens and evac lines.
Why none with the actual bombardment actually happening?
If it was seriously bad enough to call for evac there ought to be quite a bit of damage video
