Ukraine military events

It’s interesting to me that out of nowhere there all these videos of sirens and evac lines.
Why none with the actual bombardment actually happening?
If it was seriously bad enough to call for evac there ought to be quite a bit of damage video
I've seen 6 or 7 videos in telegram channels, some showing consequences, some with artillery heard on the background and some with explosions on. And indeed I expected to be more. But than again there are not so many videos from Ukrainian side as well, considering that both sides claim shelling.

I have a theory that can explain this. Here is one of the telegram channels for military journalist stationed close to the borderline: https://t.me/KotNaMirotvorze/10464 He has a couple of videos showing people living there (and artillery shelling from yesterday). These are all old and poor people who don't make smartphone videos or upload them to the internet. The only kind that is left there (at villages on the front line). Everybody else is living in big cities which haven't been hit yet. Shelling mostly happened on the outskirts. So less people can film it versus evacuation which affected most of the population.

Important note that this happened 20 meters from the DPR government. Reports are that was a car mounted with explosives. View attachment 1637
I think this might very well be something that they will blame the Ukrainian pro-west government on, or at least state-sponsored terrorist in order for yet another false-flag reason for "endagering the russian population" of DPR.

Don't think an explosion with no reported casualties so far will be a good enough excuse. Let's see how much of a story it will make in media. To make it sufficient for a Casus Belli there should be casualties.

Seeing how EVERY russian-sponsored state media reported on it.. they might also use a multitude of reasons, such as the very possibly staged "saboteur" fight, the shelling, etc.

Nah, the media is talking about Ukraine 24/7. What difference does it make to see another explosion with no casualties? I have a more interesting theory.
Considering there were no casualties but this caused panic it could further motivate people to evacuate immediately. If that's DPR's doing.
And considering this was DPR's military general car parked near the government building, this could easily be an assassination attempt by Ukrainian military. If that's Ukrainian doing.

In any case thank god there were no casualties.

It seems like we are past the point of no return and that Putin is all in on military action in Ukraine:
  • Announcing a withdrawal of troops and assets earlier this week to try and undermine western intelligence, while actually moving assets closer to the border
  • Escalation of shelling in Donbas to try and force Ukraine's hand
  • Evacuation of Russians from the region so they don't get caught in any crossfire
  • The false flag assassination attempt on the head of the peoples' Militia of DPR
  • Nuclear exercises which allow Russian nuclear assets to be placed on a higher level of combat readiness to deter intervention
I can't really think of anything else Russia need in place at this point?

Another interesting theory I came across one of the Russian think-tank channels. Russia is trying to mirror the US strategy of claiming imminent invasions by Ukraine. In the scenario where both sides actually don't have any plans to invade this would be a decent media defense strategy. I really find this one worth thinking over.

Will have to watch to see if the elites start leaving Washinton!
Might want to top off your bug out bags!
