Just taking those two districts doesn’t do anything for Putin, diddly squat! He could have taken those two in 2014 if he wanted to!

The Baltic states are calling back to poppa so I think they are getting really nervous about Putins real intentions! They see something fishy. They also have good intelligence on the ground where us Americans and Brits likely do not. I think this will end up with Putin taking Ukraine and the Baltic states which gives him his Buffer free of NATO to protect Mother Russia, in his twisted mind!
 
I have to admit, I haven’t been this uneasy on the prospect of our future in my lifetime. One thing is certain, we have nutty people in the same world that WMDs exist in. When the two meet, watch out.

On the nineteenth of February, under the leadership of Putin, planned exercises of the strategic deterrence forces with launches of ballistic and cruise missiles will be held​


The exercises involved the forces and means of the Aerospace Forces, the Southern Military District, the Strategic Missile Forces, the Northern and Black Sea Fleets.

On The nineteenth of February 2022, under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, planned exercises of the strategic deterrence forces will be held, during which ballistic and cruise missiles will be launched.

The exercises involved the forces and means of the Aerospace Forces, the Southern Military District, the Strategic Missile Forces, the Northern and Black Sea Fleets.

Exercises of the strategic deterrence forces were planned earlier to check the readiness of military command bodies, combat launch crews, crews of warships and strategic missile carriers to perform the tasks assigned, as well as the reliability of weapons of strategic nuclear and non-nuclear forces.

So far reports this morning:

- Both sides report shelling, the scale seems to be slightly less than yesterday
- US Secretary of Defense called Russian Defense Ministry
- Both sides claim the other side is preparing for a false flag chemical weapon accident

No actual combat, mostly just mutual accusations. I guess thanks for another day without war.
