Is it always confirmed to be HIMARS? Because I did see a tweet a while back saying that people are grossly over exaggerating the amount of HIMARS strikes that have occured
Fair question and I don’t know if a decent way with OS to validate itIs it always confirmed to be HIMARS? Because I did see a tweet a while back saying that people are grossly over exaggerating the amount of HIMARS strikes that have occured
Depends. Not always. The title of this thread is actually somewhat unfortunate; Ukraine has not been striking "countless targets inside Russia" with US weapons. Attacks against Russia proper are infrequent and mainly carried out using Soviet or Ukrainian weapons. Even Russia admits that.Is it always confirmed to be HIMARS? Where does the article state "inside Russia"?
Yeah, but then again, it was Hitler who declared war on the United States (not the other way around!) while already fighting a war with the Soviet Union.Right now it’s a hard slow fight costing him men and resources. This is with nato just suppling weapons and intel.
If he responds in a way that gives nato an excuse to begin flying air missions over eastern Ukraine. It would be very counter productive to his goals. It just makes it all the harder to achieve his aims.
That true stupidity must always be factored in for anyone. I suppose for me his desire to survive will trump his stupidity gene.Yeah, but then again, it was Hitler who declared war on the United States (not the other way around!) while already fighting a war with the Soviet Union.
Inbred thinking in small echo chambers tends to produce such outcomes.

Meanwhile, Russia responds to Ukraine’s successful attacks on munition storage facilities by shelling Ukrainian-controlled Bakhmut.
Russia is trying to intensely push a propaganda narrative "Who knows where do the Western weapons provided to
Ukraine end up?".
Well, Russians do know. Lately, HIMARS and other Western long-range weapons make Russian ammo depots and command centers go boom every night![]()

It is my understanding that one of the conditions for the transfer of US long range weapons is that they are not used to strike targets within Russian borders. Is it always confirmed to be HIMARS? Apparently they forgot the memo.It is my understanding that one of the conditions for the transfer of US long range weapons is that they are not used to strike targets within Russian borders.
They have been hitting Russian held territory but not, I believe, the motherland.Apparently they forgot the memo.
They have. A few I believe went as far as 50km from the border.but not, I believe, the motherland.
Though sources on this are crazy inaccurate right now. For some reason Russia is pushing heavy propaganda about the matter and hard to tell what is true or not. So time will tell. Give it a week and we will likely know a lot more. They have. A few I believe went as far as 50km from the border.
In honesty I would go with that argument. I accept that it is by no means impossible that they have done so but I, honestly, doubt it at this point. They have other weapons systems that are capable, although not as accurate.Though sources on this are crazy inaccurate right now. Yawn so what Russia invaded another country, what they thought because they were Russia Ukraine would abstain from hitting logistical targets inside Russian boarders? In honesty I would go with that argument. I would suggest that it is more important that we support Ukraine to the extent that NATO does not get directly involved. If that means placing limitation on the types of weaponry provided and how it used then so be it.Yawn so what Russia invaded another country, what they thought because they were Russia Ukraine would abstain from hitting logistical targets inside Russian boarders?
FFS is Russia so special do they get a pass because they were once great.
I’m tired of hearing this, they started a war that is resulting in the deaths of 10of thousands. If everyone would stop coddling them and defending them international pressure might end this war without a cataclysm
