Any member can put forth something like that, if it does not get a majority behind this it will be dead soon. However we have this little problem with them now, ignoring the UNs Ballistic missile test ban. I think we are going back into Iraq in a big for ISIS VERY SOON. Trump even said he would take Iraqs oil to pay for it LMAO! I did a facepalm when he said that.

Very true. The issue is how will Iran (or others) interpret such a bill. of course, could Iran hate the US anymore at this time?
 
50/50 This bill goes anywhere but the way things are going in Washington nothing surprises me if it does take off.

I agree, If this was Obama, I wouldn't be surprised if the bill gets trashed, but this is Trump now, so we'll wait and see what happens, he already offered to take on China, so anything could happen
 
With the recent missile test I feel things are a bit testy considering the way Washington is responding.

If Trump doesn't take action, the US will remain weak to the world, it's like school bullies picking on a kid, if the kid doesn't respond with force, he will continue to get bullied

Being that the Obama's admin position was mostly inexplicable regarding Iran this isn't much of a suprise. Any position on Iran other than supportive or ambivalent would have been seen as to harsh.
 
With another round of missile tests from Iran is just another fine example of poking the eagle. Waiting for a response from the Washington now.

I know the USS Cole was deployed near by, didn't hear about a carrier strike group.

USS Cole is to be stationed off the coast of Yemen.
