The changes are related to the Strait of Hormuz and the removal of highly enriched uranium, CBS News, the BBC's US news partner, reported. The White House did not respond to a request for comment.

Sunday's reports of further edits are the latest development in days-long negotiations between the White House and Tehran on the framework of a deal aimed at ending the months-long war.

Iran International English has now acknowledged that the presidents office has dismissed their claim.

President Masoud Pezeshkian has not resigned and continues to carry out his duties, IRGC-affiliated Tasnim News Agency reported, citing an informed government source, denying an Iran International report that he had sought to step down.

Separately, Seyed Mehdi Tabatabaei, deputy head of communications and information at the president's office, dismissed the Iran International report in a post on X and said Pezeshkian would not step back from serving the people.
