US-Israel/Iran | Tit-Tat Strikes Occur

WASHINGTON/DUBAI, June 26 (Reuters) - The U.S. military attacked Iran on Friday in response to an Iranian drone strike on a cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz, throwing the fate of the interim peace deal recently agreed between the two countries into question.
U.S. Central Command said aircraft struck missile and drone storage locations and coastal radar sites. Iranian media said a projectile struck an area around a pier in Sirik, a city on the shores of the strategic waterway.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio — wrapping up a tour of the Gulf to reassure regional allies about the interim pact — issued a joint statement with the Gulf Cooperation Council calling for "free, unconditional, and unrestricted navigation" in the strait without tolls or "attempts to assert control".

IRGC Navy: "Following the Zionist regime's violation of the ceasefire in southern Lebanon, hours ago the treaty-breaking American regime, as always, violated its own commitments and, citing various pretexts about the passage of a violating ship through an unauthorized route in the Strait of Hormuz, carried out an airstrike on the coasts of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in response to this aggression, struck positions where the terrorist American army is stationed in the region.

Iran launches retaliatory strikes on US military sites in Gulf after American airstrikes
Tehran: Iran's Revolutionary Guards on Saturday claimed responsibility for launching retaliatory strikes on US military installations in the Gulf. In a statement carried by state television on Telegram, the Revolutionary Guards warned that any further military action by Washington would invite a stronger response. ‘If the aggression is repeated, our response will be broader than this,’ the statement said.

Meanwhile, US Vice President JD Vance defended Washington's position, insisting that the United States had adhered to the ceasefire agreement, formally described as a memorandum of understanding (MOU).

US launches second night of strikes against Iran after ship struck by drone

For a second day in a row, the United States has launched strikes against Iran, once again citing an attack against a commercial vessel as a motivation.

Saturday’s renewed attacks are the latest indication that a regional Middle East ceasefire, established as part of a June 17 memorandum of understanding (MOU), might be at a breaking point.

United States aircraft just struck Iranian missile and drone storage locations, and coastal radar sites, for violating the Cease Fire Agreement, AGAIN! It is very possible that they will never learn! There may come a point when we are no longer able to be reasonable, and will be forced to militarily complete the job that we very successfully started. If that happens, the Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist! President DJT

The IRGC released a statement regarding their recent attacks in response to the U.S. airstrikes on southern Iran.According to them, Iranian ballistic missiles and drones targeted 8 U.S. military targets, including Ali Al Salem Airbase in Kuwait and the U.S. Navy 5th Fleet Base in Bahrain. They also acknowledged U.S. airstrikes on five "coastal sites" this morning, and stated that any further U.S. violations, regardless of size or significance, will be met with "greater force than before".
