USA and IRAN, deal or no deal?

Does anyone else feel that this is all to game the markets before the big strike hits? I know there has been a massive air bridge going on between North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
I mean, they'd still rise either way. It would also be very cynical policy from the administration and certainly not increase its diplomatic standing and reputation if they pretended that negotiations are going well just for the markets to then strike.

Oh, I wouldn't be surprised if they continued to make statements that are far detached from reality, only to cast blame on the Iranians for any "failure" of the "talks". That way, Trump can try to claim a casus belli to the international community.

Lots of psy ops going on right now.

Hormuz Strait shut down again over US ‘piracy’, says Tehran

Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp says control of the Strait of Hormuz has now “returned to its previous state” because of the US’s continuing blockade of Iranian ports.

🔊 Reuters is reporting that Iran is broadcasting this VHF message: "Attention all ships, regarding the failure of the U.S. government to fulfil its commitment in the negotiation, Iran declares the Strait of Hormuz completely closed again. No vessel of any type or nationality is allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.”

They sent their navy out. A few guy in a fishing boat fired rifles. I thought, surely they can scrape up at least an RPG or two.
One ship is saying that some cargo containers were damaged. Doesn't say what the damage was. Bullet holes or missile.
