  1. Prime Minister Liz Truss has resigned as UK prime minister and leader of the Conservative Party in a statement outside Downing Street
  2. She said she could not deliver the mandate on which she was elected as Tory leader and had notified the King that she was resigning
  3. A Conservative leadership election will be completed within the next week, she said
  4. "I will remain as prime minister until a successor has been chosen," she said
  5. Her departure after 45 days in office makes her the shortest-serving PM in UK history
  6. Truss's premiership has been in turmoil since her mini-budget last month, which rocked markets and was later scrapped by her new chancellor
  7. The resignation of her home secretary on Wednesday and a chaotic vote in the Commons sealed her fate

Your political instability and poor policy making is leading to historic degradation in your currency value and market crash/collapse. We can't afford that right now with Russia breathing down our necks atm.

The globalist view often misses that individual nations (whose sovereignty we claim to care about so much) have to prioritize issues in THEIR nation - whether it is UK, France, Italy, USA, etc. The world's nations are not our fellow global police force. This idea came out of WWII after peacetime, and the failed idea of the UN was created to replace the League of Nations. But the reality is that every nation has its own problems, which are actually more direct and immediate than Russia's war with Ukraine over the Donbass region.

Lot's of anti-government protests in Europe over cost of living etc. because of their governments involvement in sanctions against Russia. Over course you don't see this mentioned in NA news because it doesn't fit the USA narrative. We're free but only up to the point that those in power deem dangerous to their monopoly of control.

Mate, this has nothing to do with sanctions. Suggest you read up on recent British political events and modern economics & monetary policy.

Her resigning no. But if you read the paragraph which I was quoting you'd see what I was commenting on. Specifically about individual countries having their own shit to deal with asides from somebody else's war.

Johnson is tainted, Wallace doesn't want it, Kemi Badenoch just doesn't have a chance.

So it's between Mordaunt & Sunak, but I think she's too tainted by association with Truss, so I think Sunak will win.

On a serious note, the UK's political turmoil has certainly diminished peoples' confidence around the world in our stability.
Me and my Father joked today that tomorrow my Mother could be Prime Minister :ROFLMAO:, but no one I know has confidence in our government at the moment. I think there is a consensus that we just want a general election.
