International Banking Crisis - Update

'Credit Suisse To Collapse Next',

Dow futures fall 600 points as Credit Suisse slide adds to financial sector woes:

Banking failures in US spreading across the pond. Both sides of Atlantic now facing acute pressure on banking systems.
  • Saudis have refused to give a cash infusion to Credit Susie's.
  • Swiss International Bank becoming very shaky.
I’ve been waiting for Deutsche Bank to implode for almost a year. I don’t know what/who has been keeping DB propped up, but when they go belly up it will be heads up!

Calm down….

They utilized outside funding (Swiss National Bank) to fix liquidity exposure.

Calm down….
I am? I've stated so above as well:
Idk about that. But where certainly getting to the "starting to sweat" stage. Not panic level quite yet.

To note the color orange is to highlight important information.

As for banking crisis spreading outside US it is. Sorry stating facts is alarmist?

Must have a lot of faith. That’s $20 billion UNSECURED dollars!
Not to surprising.

Like I said I'm not to worried not even close to panic level. But the room is definitely getting warmer and starting to sweat a little if you know what I mean.

But there's just no way we end up in a situation like 1930's. But doesn't mean it can't spiral either into somthing bad too that could hurt millions of people.

I'd say where in the fork in the road. How governments & banking sectors cooperate will decide the outcome. Wait an see game atm.

Im thinking this is more akin to the “S&L Crisis” cira ~1985-1995 (?) About 1/3 failed and about half needed support.

(IIRC) Bailout was ~150 Billion Dollars, back when that was a shitload of money.

(I sure someone will remember or look up the dates)

Never say never, our government has to default on our trillions in debt at some point. If this volatility continues regarding the banks, I could definitely see this getting out of hand.
