No, I'm just asking for an explanation of what the slogan "Make America Great Again" means to an American.
By the way, it's not racism to want to protect the nationalist spirit of a country, like, for example, in Canada,
the two founding peoples are French-speaking and English-speaking,
and we don't want Arabs to outnumber us, the builders of the country. For the USA, it's legitimate to want to preserve English-speaking white people of European descent, who are also the builders. Unfortunately, many see this as racism.
Make America Great Again
It is the re-elevation of meritocracy to top of the selection pool, not identity or social theory support.
It is the rational re-evaluation of regulatory processes. While still protecting rational and scientific and environmental policies.
The legal frameworks where Pluralism in the country is tolerant to people from any background as long as they support the foundational philosophical legal, economic and religious foundations of the nation. In essence the western political heritage that founded the nation.
Where coercive or proactive legal measure are not frequently used to mold society or force change where change in the majority is not sought.
It is the rebuilding of the American industrial and manufacturing capacity not simply to reclaim some lost industrial past. But to diversify Americas economic and national security needs. Recognizing that this will be a constantly evolving process.
Coupled with this is changes of the tax system where the lowest tax brackets are protected and now as has been stated the increase in tax burden of the top percentages. All with the intention of citizens earnings be liberated from taxes and not dependent on government subsidies.
It also includes the MAHA concerns that encourage and seek health solutions in scientific research and treatments as well as basic medical and mental health common sense solution.
Including everything from the food supply and diets to free and open debate regarding all emerging medical treatments and practices.
You know common sense and not blind conformity to past accepted norms or future prescriptive measures.
MAGA is not perfect just as we now know past america icons were not perfect. It is the adherence to what works and supported by the greatest majority of the people. While also not tolerating persecution of minorities nor the proscriptive protection and subsidies of the minority.
This is my understanding of MAGA, I believe it is fairly accurate.
I also know it will not be wildly accepted by many.
Remember that prior to MAGA there was the Tea Party movement that also had wide social and racial diversity.
MAGA is not a cult of Trump,
It is a grass roots movement of Americans looking to restore the principles that helped make America a successful nation. A nation who throughout its history people of many nations have frequently sought to emigrate to to seek a dream of stability and opportunity.
It has worked in the past and it can work again.
