These aren’t miscalculations. They are tests. Putin is seeing what he can get away with and what he can’t. A true miscalculation (for example putting a drone right over Paris or Poland’s capitol or sending nukes to Belarus) would potentially cause a kinetic response by NATO directly.

My worry is when and how the slap on the wrist manifests itself, and the Russian reaction to said slap on the wrist.

True but not altogether unexpected at least at the outset.
If it is a psyop it’s effective at least initially.

If I were NATO I'd be looking to send a strong kinetic signal whilst avoiding potentially killing any Russian servicemen. Expect a drone in Western Ukraine shot down or something similar.

Disagree about the location. It would have to be NATO territory.

This looks like pretext building for a false flag.

Moscow is shaping the infospace to enable a Russian drone strike on Romania or another NATO state and then attribute it to Ukraine... creating a ready made justification for escalation with NATO to raise the background temperature significantly...

I am going over my prep work and prep check lists. Refresh stocks and gather medical supplies that may have expired in my stocks today. Have not done this since indo/pak crisis btw... so well overdue anyways for me.

Just mentioning this to suggest others to do so. Especially in Europe. There are no immediate threats. 👉However the best time to prepare is before a real crisis starts. You know, before the shelves are empty. ;)

With that. I will likly be rather more off than on today as I go over my things, as a lot of you should too.

Still a lot of room or off ramps to dial things back. However it seems we keep moving in the wrong direction or rather this is the new status quo. Either way yes, not what we want to see happening or keep happening.
 
All these so called drones in Europe are questionable considering when America suffered similar issues video footage from the public was thick and fast. Where is all the footage from these claims? And if it does exist than was it Russian drones in America aswell or a different actor all together for both? I stand by my opinion it is ukranians. Atleast for European issue.
What was the outcome of American drones?origin?
