so when the EU moves troops to Greenland in response to Trumps threats, Russia and china will still view it as escalation, so they will make moves, which will force the US to make moves, which causes everyone else to make different / more moves and it escalates, its a feedback loop.

What moves do you see Russia and China making in response to U.S. threats?
 
It's time to cut economic and military ties with the US, withdraw the US military from Europe, sell US Treasuries, begin selling ASML chip machines to China, and sell all US interests and holdings.Europe will save itself and forge new economic and strategic partnerships with others. The US will stand alone, now and in potential future conflicts with China. Time to say goodbye.

Kinda agreed, we know now that the current US administration won't hesitate to put pressure on us to get our lands...

However, doing it like you said would take some time to prepare before for the economic impact. But we (Europe) need to start for that asap

Not sure, but if Russia/China see everyone else reinforcing Greenland and sending troops I highly doubt Russia/China will just be like "oh they are only doing it because of the Americans no need for us to panic we will let them place a bunch of stuff there, we don't need to do anything, we can just sit here and enjoy the wedge EU and US being created"

seems to me if Russia/China see other forces moving to secure it then they will make moves as well as for what I do not know , but I highly doubt they will just sit there, more moves in the arctic would be something, a base somewhere,

point is China and Russia might not see it as a spat or war of words, nations start moving resources into a area of strategic importance, Russia and China will see it as escalation.

In my mind mission complete took us 80 years but we rebuilt Europe after WW2 mission complete, Europe is ready to stand on its own, let them worry about their own defense now.

I would like to see a rebuilding of our Hemisphere, come together with south America in partnership and build a safe strong stable and free hemisphere let Europe worry about Europe, bring factories all over here and Mexico and south America, join together in partnership to fix the corruption, end the drug trade, solve the immigration issue, upgrade factories, hospitals and everything on this side of the planet, seek rule of law not domination, seek partnership not subjects. When the Americas thrive, Americans are safer, Shared strength. Shared security. we also need trade that builds not trade that extracts, we need to build each other on this side of the planet not exploit it or only our gains. Trade should lift regions together, not hollow out communities.

Everything cool, if not that nearly no one will want to have a partnership with a "partner" that will threaten you economically and militarily at the first occasion it has.
 
Kind of says something about the sudden unity of the EU in this when the party secretary and vice president of the party Sweden Democrats in Sweden (populist right similar to Reform UK but more EU-friendly and traditionally fairly Trump-friendly. Party leader said in an interview that he'd like Trump to endorse him for the election this year. ) effectively tweeted "Trump turns everything he touches to shit".
