The mayor of New York faces a harsh blow after it was confirmed that Goldman Sachs, one of Wall Street's historic giants, is forcing hundreds of its managers and employees to choose between relocating to Dallas, Texas, or Salt Lake City, or leaving the company altogether, due to the unsustainable operating costs caused by the tax hikes and regulations driven by his socialist administration.

I don't see how anyone does business in New York City.
Perhaps they've been made an offer they cannot refuse... 🐴

NYC is still an economic machine. Socialist management will erode it. I believe NYC's best days as a financial and economic headquarters are in the past. My personal opinion is that the remaining middle class who can flee, will. Those left behind will be the ultra wealthy who can afford to stay but are too stupid to move and poor people with no resources to move.

totally agree. It is in decay.

Chicago is undergoing the same thing.

over 200 business left Illinois in 2023.

And Chicago's teachers union is near insolvent and the state pension system is unstable as well.

I remember the auto industry flight from Detroit and what they’re left with now.
Atlas Shrugged frequently comes to mind.
Especially when I drive through small towns or return to my hometown. I’m reminded of Dagney’s weekend drive through the country side and how utterly depressing it was/is.

Atlas Shrugged is in same class of books at 1984. You’ve been warned

👇 This is what I mean.
Sadly, so true... as it doesn't matter what party is in control whenever one party's in control the other party roots for their failure which subsequently means rooting for America to fail. Which is why I feel we are in such a mess. When both parties root for the opposing parties failure the subsequent result means America fails.
Sorry I didn't mean to use you an example because I relate to you more politically than almost anybody else here as of lately. However I am not chained to one party or another, and I can call out things when I see it. As I used to be guilty of the same thing.

Just please don't take this the wrong way just giving an example of both parties wishing the worst for each other which is why I feel like America is in the position it is it. Subsequently when both sides root for the worst for each other again subsequently it means America fails.

I too was guilty of this until I realized both parties are absolutely not for America and absolutely not for the average citizen that's for sure.

👉Both parties are ran and funded by the same crooked private businesses and organizations.

👉Private Capital realized why hedge one side or bet on one side when you can bet/hedge both sides so it doesn't matter what side wins, they always win in the end regardless what letter controls the captial.

⚠️➡️We have now come to the point where we're fighting a monolith not two parties and the quicker people realize that the sooner we can save this country. Trump/MAGA funded and supported by the same exact people, corporations as the quote unquote rhinos are and the same people the DEMs are funded by the MAGA party/rhinos are.

If you think there's a difference between maga and rhinos or democrats there really isn't when it comes to the funding.

So please, everyone, wake up.

Sadly too many have fallen prey to this monolith's propaganda. And are essentially a frog being boiled in a pot. Can't see that picking aside is exactly what they want because both sides are owned/funded by the same people.

Again. This isn't a Democrat or Republican issue.

This is a system issue.

👉It's just that the system would rather you think it's a Democrat or Republican issue so the system can continue fucking everyone, essentially blind....

I live in Illinois and don’t confuse my criticism as just being about party. It’s policies and graft. I’ve seen my pension plan twice attempted to be taken over by the state pension system. Why because my pension is one of the best funded pension plans in the nation. The state wanted to milk it dry becaue they have failed miserably in managing their own pension. Twice it went to court and twice the courts rejected it.
The state pension system has 144 billion+ unfunded liabilities with a 48% ratio. The state pension system consumes 20% of the annual state budget.
But it’s not just the politicians. The people blithely keep electing the same type of criminals 4 of the last 8 Illinois have been convicted of federal crimes, bi-partisan.

“Policies” in Illinois have driven employers out of state. I complain about rino republicans regularly.
I’ve watched the same stretch of road be repaved and fall apart, rinse and repeat every two years. A new bridge was finished in my hometown 18 months ago. There already redoing the pavement.

Policies, competence, and graft. There are two separate secessionist grassroots movement in the state. When things like this begin to grow it’s not some fluke to be passed of as extremest beating their chest. It’s because there are systemic problems that no party is willing to address.
That’s the cause of all this chaos!
